Hormann-Flexon Speed-Master® 1600 L

Compact guide tracks with built-in light grid. The Speed-Master® 1600 L¹⁹ has guide tracks made of heavy duty 12 gauge galvanized steel, with dimensions of 7-3/8″ wide x 4-3/8″ projection which enable the Speed-Master® 1600 L¹⁹ to fit into areas with limited clearance. A light grid is built into the guide tracks up to 8’0″ high. Completely free of coil cords, the light grid provides a thorough wall of protection for personnel and equipment at the doorway, as compared to other doors that use only photocells. Full perimeter draft seals provide dust and odor containment, as well as general environmental control.

Smart start™ nxt nema 4x control box standard on doors over 10 x 10. Effective April 1, 2017, the Speed-Master^® 1600 L¹⁹ has the following control box configuration as standard: The 208 v to 575 v / 3-phase / 60 Hz Smart Start™ NXT NEMA 4X control box. Optional: 230 v / 1-phase / 60 Hz / 3-phase output NEMA 3 control box, available for doors up to 10’0″ wide x 10’0″ high.

Patented, sectional panel design, made of ultra tough, reinforced, puncture resistant, 90 oz. / sq. yd. Bulldog XT material. Panels are connected with heavy duty aluminum hinge profiles.

Two, full-width vision areas made of high quality PVC are standard. Consult factory for additional vision areas.
Operating Speed

Opening: Up to 60″ per second.

Closing: 30″ per second down.
Guide Tracks

Standard: Heavy-duty, 12 gauge, galvanized steel, 7-3/8″ wide x 4-3/8″ deep with brush draft strips and a light grid built in up to 8’0″ high.

Direct-Drive Motor

Compact, self-monitoring direct-drive motor has a patented built-in safety brake and is maintenance free.
Control Box

Standard: Smart Start™ NXT NEMA 4X 3-phase (effective April 1, 2017).

Custom Panel Prints

Make an impression with our customized panel prints! Logos, pictures and text may be digitally printed onto our door panels. The images are durable, UV treated and waterproof. The maximum image size is 7’0″ wide x 3’0″ high.
Food Processing Compliant Model

Stainless steel options are available. Select from the following depending on the application requirements: Roll-tube / hollow shaft, motor cover, and guide tracks. Panel constructed of 1/8″ thick, 90 oz. / sq. yd. USDA compliant Bulldog XT material and two full-width vision areas made of high quality USDA compliant PVC.
